AIM

The aim of this course is to equip participants with the knowledge and practical competence to effectively process customs declarations using the MACCS and Tradenet MNS systems, enabling them to confidently manage import and export procedures in full compliance with MRA regulations and industry standards for digital customs and freight operations.

Course Objectives

To equip participants with a thorough understanding of the MACCS and Tradenet MNS platforms, including their structure, functionality, and role in facilitating electronic customs declarations and cargo community integration in Mauritius.
To develop participants’ practical skills in preparing, submitting, and managing import and export declarations electronically, ensuring full compliance with Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) customs procedures and documentation standards.
To enable participants to utilize advanced digital tools and reporting functions within MACCS and Tradenet MNS for enhanced operational efficiency, data accuracy, and informed decision-making in freight and customs operations.

Cargo Community System (CCS) – Introduction
Cargo Community System (CCS) – Applications in Freight Operations
Customs Management System (Tradenet MNS) – Import Declarations
Customs Management System (Tradenet MNS) – Export Processes and Amendments
Customs Management System (Tradenet MNS) – Advanced Functions and Reports

Target Audience:

Importers, Exporters, Customs & Shipping Clerks, Freight Forwarders, the Logistics Community & School Leavers (Minimum SC)

Certification:

Attendance Certificate to be awarded after successful completion with at least 80% of attendance.
